Synopsis:

How to show images for each subcategory instead of a bulleted list when a customer clicks the Parent Category?

 

Solution:

Go to eCommerce module > Setup > Application Configuration > Search and set the ShowSubCatsInGrid to true.  Make sure to Reset the Web Cache to reflect the changes.
