Symptoms: 

When generating a Shipping Label for USPS, the "Whitespace is not allowed at this location" error will prompt

 

Solution:

The cause of the issue is the Ship From Name has special characters. Remove the '&' or any special characters in it. Then, try to generate the label again.

Note: Applicable for USPS only and for the following fields below. 

1. Ship From Name
2. Ship To Name
3. Ship From Address
4. Ship To Address
