Getting ‘Response Msg: REVERSED Authorization’ Message after Credit Card Payment Capture

Cause:

You will get Response Msg: Reversed after capturing the Credit Card Payment if the authorized amount is different from what was captured.

 

Solution:

Credit Card will be just charged with what is captured so there is no need to process a customer refund. To confirm, you can log in to your gateway and check the charged amount.
