To include all items (including out-of-stock items) in the Freight Quote:

  • Change the value in the Shipping Configuration (Shipping > Tools > Setup > Shipping Configuration) named "Default.UseQuantityAllocatedForOrderFreightQuote" to False. This should consider the ordered quantity in the Quantity column and disregard the available and in-stock quantity in making the Freight Quote.

To calculate freight for any item:

  • Use the Shipment Rate Calculator (Shipping > Rates) for calculating freight and comparing prices.
